KAS decides to recount votes in Gramsh and Peqin

The Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) has decided to open the ballot boxes in the municipalities of Gramsh and Peqin, following the request of the Democratic Party, which has raised suspicions of irregularities evidenced in the video footage of the electoral process.

The decision to recount the votes was supported by the two DP members on the KAS, who argued that there are indications that require further verification of the election results in these areas.

According to the DP representative at the KAS, Çefa, in the footage obtained from the counting process, moments were found that raise strong suspicions of manipulation or disrespect for electoral procedures, which led to the decision to reopen the boxes and recount the votes.
