Basha in "Review" on Euronews Albania: The vote on May 11 is a decision for 1460 days, choose number 4, not to get the corrupt out of prison

The political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, invited to the "Review" show on Euronews Albania with journalist Jonida Shehu, called on citizens to reflect before voting on May 11, emphasizing that every vote has consequences for the next four years.

"Voting is not a momentary act, but a decision that affects 1460 days of our lives. Four years ago, a decision was made and we have all felt its consequences: poverty, corruption and a government that works only for its friends," Basha declared.

He accused the current government of protecting incriminated persons and warned that a vote for number 5 would mean “the release of Edi Rama’s friends convicted of corruption from prison”, while a vote for number 1 would mean “the release of Ilir Meta from prison”. “The proposal to fight corruption with Rroshi and Meta is a bitter mockery of the democrats”, he added.

According to Basha, the only vote that guarantees a real fight against corruption, support for SPAK, and the return of public money to citizens is the vote for number 4 - the Euro-Atlantic Coalition.

Four years ago, you made this decision, and for 1460 days, four years, you have been living with the consequences of that decision. You have seen the country impoverished, you have seen corruption grow, you have fought to survive to make ends meet while the government was only concerned with protecting its friends and filling its pockets on your back. On May 11, we all have a vote. Each of you has a vote. Make the right decision for yourself and your families. Without a doubt, a vote for number five is a vote to get Edi Rama's friends out of prison, at 7x7=313, who are there for corruption because they stole from you. I say this with pain, but a vote for number one, this time it will get Ilir Meta out of prison.
