Following Sali Berisha's accusations against the Head of the EU Delegation in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, calling him Edi Rama's ambassador, the reaction of diplomats from European Union countries emphasizes that such statements are unacceptable.

In a press conference given today at the Blue Headquarters, Berisha said that he stands by those statements and that nothing in the world stops him from denouncing things he thinks are unjust.

"I declare that absolutely everything I have said is based on several sources. I have respect and sympathy for the European Commission and the ambassadors. Nothing prevents me from denouncing what I consider unjust.
I do not wish to argue, but I do not agree with unacceptable acts, so I have continuously denounced them and will denounce the truths, I cannot hide them. Otherwise I would not be who I am," he said.
