This Wednesday, the wife of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Linda Rama, was invited to the studio of the show "Opinion". She was asked by the journalist Blendi Fevziu how much it affects the decision-making of the head of the government. Linda Rama said that she does not influence Edi Rama's decision-making, even that no one can do something like that. According to her, his decisions are institutional decision-making since he is the prime minister of the country.

Linda Rama said that from the first moment she has stood by her profile and has a complete distance from her husband's power as prime minister. She emphasized that the vote for prime minister is given by the people in the political collective and not the family one. And for this reason, no family member has the right to make political decisions, she emphasized.

However, she admits that there is a field where everyone can give their opinions to a prime minister when it comes to various phenomena, and she herself takes this opportunity. Linda Rama said that with the passage of time in power, Prime Minister Rama has increased his patience to listen.

Blendi Fevziu:  How much do you influence Edi Rama's decision-making? In addition to decision-making in the office, is there always advice or influence at home?

Linda Rama:  I do not influence Edi Rama's decision-making at any moment and I think that there is no one who influences Edi's decision-making. Ed's decision-making, I think, is institutional decision-making because he is prime minister.

Blendi Fevziu:  Not decision-making to tell them you should do this or not, but through consultations, through words, through considerations. Because if he says this person looks good to me and you tell him that this person does not, this is influence.

Linda Rama:  In no case. Zero cases.

Blendi Fevziu:  There are many people in PS who think that they have ruined their careers because of you, as there are many others who say...

Linda Rama:  I don't prevent people from thinking what they want to think. What I have in my hand, my word, I never do because it would reduce a measure of the reason why I try to be what I am. The decisions, I think, are Ed's because the responsibility is also Ed's. Second, I want to think that the decisions are institutional and are shared with the entire spectrum of political or administrative decision-makers.

Blendi Fevziu: Ne po arrijmë në një shoqëri jo vetëm te PS, por në përgjithësi ku kemi liderë të fortë dhe njerëz që rreth e rrotull kryesisht të bëjnë fresk. Kryesisht se nuk u hyj dot një nga një. Tani do ju pyes ju, nuk vjen për shembull, mua më vjen siklet kur dëgjoj njerëzit politikë që flasin për Ramën thonë KM, për Berishën doktori, me një adhurim të jashtëzakonshëm. Nuk ju krijohet një ndjenjë sikleti? Për shembull personalisht nuk ju sekëlldis kjo? Nuk ka njerëz që ju vijnë rrotull, ju servilosen se jeni bashkëshortja e kryeministrit më shumë se sa jeni profesioniste?

Linda Rama: Jo. Mua nuk më ndodh kjo sepse unë që në fillim e kam ndarë shumë mirë profilin tim dhe i kam qëndruar profilit tim që unë do kem një distancë të plotë nga pushteti i Edit.

Blendi Fevziu: Si e mban këtë distancë?

Linda Rama: E mbaj në mënyrë të përditshme me një rezistencë të jashtëzakonshme dhe me një mirëkuptim. Ja që është e mundur. Nëse ju do më thoni mua që ka një moment që është e kundërta e kësaj që them unë pas 11 viteve që Edi është në pushtet, atëherë unë do them që është vërtetë e pamundur. E mbaj sepse e besoj. Linda Rama: Këshillimi për çdo kryeministër është institucional. Në rolin e kryeministrit nuk e besoni dot sa shumë ekziston mundësia për t’u këshilluar nga pikëpamja institucionale me këdo.

I take time myself to do a more in-depth thought, I also get opinions... There are times and such that I don't say I don't like your decision, but I ask the questions and from the questions it is understood that there is no better way to do it convey a perhaps dilemma or perhaps a situation as uncertain as perhaps asking questions. If you ask the right questions, you understand that there are reservations about the other's opinion. Sometimes I tell him and findings... I don't expect Edi to react. Over time I have realized that at that moment Eddie is generally invested in listening. It sounds like he doesn't listen, but I personally think Eddie has exponentially increased his listening patience. Eddie added this to his willingness to listen. It seems that he is not paying attention and you can hear after a few days a synthesized moment of the conversation because those days have given him the opportunity to reflect and make himself. I'm sure this happens to others too.
