"Luciano Boçi in hospital with burns", Berisha: Sokol Bizhga used stun grenades

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused police leaders of attacking senior DP officials during the protest.

"Luciano Boçi is in hospital with burns. Journalist Aulon Kalaja, personally attacked, and revenge for his stances against the regime," said Berisha from the DP headquarters, in his closing speech. "DP leaders and officials are injured."

He accused the Deputy Director of Police, Sokol Bizhga, of using stun grenades against protesters, which, according to him, injured some of them.

"They threw Molotov cocktails and injured both protesters and police. Because they needed them as witnesses to the alleged acts of the protesters. I condemn with the greatest force and I assure you that there is no force in the world that can defeat our peaceful uprising ," Berisha said.
