18 years after the disappearance of the "Beethoven" star, the event remains a mystery

Actor Joe Pichler, the former child movie star known for his roles in the "Beethoven" and "Varsity Blues" series, mysteriously disappeared at the age of 18. Pichler disappeared on January 5, 2006, just a few weeks before his 19th birthday, writes the Daily Mail.

Pichler, who had left his acting career behind and was living in his hometown of Bremerton, Washington, made one last phone call to a friend at 4 a.m. on January 5. His car was later found abandoned on January 9, 2006, in Bremerton, with a note and a poem inside.
