He stabbed his blogger wife and then himself, who is the famous Albanian designer who ended his life at the age of 34?

A serious incident shook Pristina yesterday, where a 34-year-old man is suspected of having killed himself after injuring his wife with a knife.

It is learned that the victim is the well-known designer from Kosovo, Festim Isufi, who after injuring his blogger partner, Rina Maloku, stabbed himself, wounds that proved fatal for his life.

After the serious incident inside the apartment, the blogger reportedly managed to get outside and seek help at a dental clinic.

"The injured woman came here asking for help," the owner of the dental clinic told Kosovo media.

Meanwhile, the blogger is reported to be in stable condition and has no serious life-threatening injuries.

"She was treated at the Emergency Center. She was released under police escort, nothing serious,"  said the Director of the Emergency Clinic, Naser Syla.

The designer's body has been sent for forensic examination to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

"The acting prosecutor has arrived at the scene together with the relevant Kosovo Police units, and has ordered the taking of immediate investigative actions to fully clarify the case," the Prosecution's statement said.

The prosecution has launched investigations to fully uncover the dynamics of the event.

Festim Isufi in 2020 was the first Albanian designer to present his collection of 20 "Haute Couture" garments at Paris Fashion Week.

This happened at the house of Coco Chanel, where world-famous designers presented their collections. His collection brought sky-blue colors, mainly light, evening and everyday dress models.

We recall that his fashion show ended with the glamorous wedding dress to the sounds of the song "Baresha" in memory of the icon of our music, Nexhmije Pagarusha, a song that moved and brought all the foreign and Albanian attendees to their feet.

In addition to foreign designers, Agnesa Vuthaj and Orinda Huta, the Ambassador of Kosovo to France, Qendrim Gashi, and his wife Jeta Abazi Gashi were also present at the Isuf fashion show.
