EU criticizes Serbia and Kosovo, Kos: Form institutions, Vučić made a mistake when he went to Moscow

European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has stated that Kosovo's European path goes through the normalization of relations with Serbia.
According to her, this should be done through the Brussels dialogue. At the session of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, the European official also criticized Vučić for his visit to Moscow:
"We have a real opportunity to accept one or more candidate countries with full rights as EU member states by 2029. We want candidate countries to be part of our common security system. The rule of law is non-negotiable.
The Commission is ready to prepare an opinion on Kosovo's membership of the European Union when it receives such a request from the Council. But, let me be clear, Kosovo's path to the EU goes through the normalization of relations with Belgrade and not through unilateral actions.
As for Serbia, real progress depends on restoring public trust and engaging all stakeholders. I have also told President Aleksandar Vučić that his visit to Moscow sends the wrong signal and complicates our efforts to advocate for Serbia.
Regarding Milorad Dodik's separatist policies, I can say that he is pulling the country back, not forward, and it is time for those who believe in the country's future in the EU to join forces and implement reforms," Kos said.
