Naim Frashëri, the actor who dominated the stage with roles in national and international dramaturgy

On February 18, 1975, actor Naim Frashëri passed away.
He was the descendant of a family of beylers from Përmet, but was born in Leskovik on August 15, 1923. He had his artistic beginnings on the stage of the partisan theater, where he stood out for his acting skills, and after the War at the National Theater, in 1945.
Some of his most acclaimed roles are: Valery in "Tartuffe", John in "The Good Brave with Many Friends", the general in "The General of the Dead Army", Leka in "The Colleagues", Nikola in "Enemies", Sasha Ribakov in "The Kremlin Hours", Lubeni in "The Leipzig Trial" and Hamlet in "Hamlet".
Jonuz Bruga in "The Fisherman's Family" would be the 80th and last role that Naim Frashëri would play in his busy career.
In the film genre, he has acted in 8 cinematographic productions, including "Skënderbeg" in 1953, as well as the film "Tana" in 1958. In 1959, he was awarded the Republic Prize, Class I. For his craftsmanship, he has also been honored with the high order "Hero of Socialist Labor" and the title "People's Artist".
