They are demanding state intervention and compensation for the increase in services and products. "The ticket has increased by 1 thousand lek. We have no way to pay. Because we don't have any. We are a man and a woman, only a pension. I just need to take the mule now!", said a resident. The price of public transport tickets from villages to city centers has also increased, but at a lower value than the price of intercity transport tickets.
