Trump warns Putin: You're playing with fire! If it weren't for me, very bad things would have happened in Russia

US President Donald Trump has raised his tone towards Russia for the second day in a row, issuing a direct warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Through a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said that "Putin is playing with fire," indicating that his patience with the Kremlin's behavior is running out.

This strong statement comes at a time when Russia has carried out some of the heaviest drone and missile attacks on Ukraine since the start of the war in 2022.

"What Vladimir Putin doesn't understand is that if it weren't for me, very bad things would have already happened in Russia. And when I say very bad, I mean it. He's playing with fire!" Trump wrote in his response.
