For the fourth year in a row, where the whole world faced an economic contraction, Bezos managed to increase his wealth. The number of billionaires on the list of the richest people in the world increased by 660 people in 2020.

Forbes calculated stock prices and exchange rates from March 11, 2022 to calculate net worth.
They are worth a collective $12.7 trillion, $400 billion less than in 2021.
Musk is estimated to be the richest man in 2022 with 219 billion dollars.

The year 2023
In total among the richest people in the world, the largest number on the list was held by billionaires from China. For 2023, according to Forbes, of the world's billionaires, 1,058 billionaires are from China (anyone with a fortune over $1 billion).
After her come the American billionaires, as the USA has about 696 billionaires. But while China has more billionaires, none of them appear in this year's top 10.
