Israel launches relentless offensive in Lebanon! Beirut shaken by airstrikes, death toll rises to 850

Several airstrikes hit the southern suburbs of Beirut overnight, while explosions were also reported in several areas of southern Lebanon.
Footage published by Reuters shows a large cloud of smoke over the southern areas of the capital, considered a Hezbollah stronghold, which have long been the target of Israeli airstrikes.
Meanwhile, Israel has issued evacuation warnings for most of southern Lebanon, some areas of the capital Beirut, as well as the Beqaa Valley, in an effort to strike Hezbollah positions across the country.
According to Lebanon's Health Ministry, as of Sunday afternoon at least 850 people had been killed and over 2,100 others wounded since the conflict began. These figures have not been independently verified.
Meanwhile, United Nations peacekeepers announced that they had been shot at during patrols on their bases, most likely by non-state armed groups, but with no reports of injuries.
On the other hand, Hezbollah stated that it carried out five attacks on Monday, while the day before it had launched 25 attacks targeting targets in Israel, the Golan Heights, as well as Israel Defense Forces positions in Lebanese territory.
