Strong earthquake hits Antalya in Turkey, alarm and panic among citizens

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter scale hit Turkey this Wednesday morning.
The tremors were recorded around 11:09 local time, in the Alanya and Antalya area.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the sea in front of the city of Antalya with a focal depth of 30 km below the surface.
Based on preliminary data, the earthquake did not cause significant material damage or human injuries.
However, the tremors have been strong, causing fear and panic among citizens.
