Camorra boss Roberto Mazzarella arrested in Italy, caught in a luxury villa where he was going to celebrate Easter! How he managed to hide

Camorra boss Roberto Mazzarella has been arrested in Italy. He was hiding in a resort priced at one thousand euros a night in Vietri sul Mare, in the province of Salerno, where police tracked him down, Italian media report.
The man, who did not resist, was on the Interior Ministry's list of very dangerous fugitives. Born in 1978, Mazzarella had been a fugitive since January 28, 2025, and had escaped capture following a preliminary detention order issued by the Court of Naples at the request of the Naples Anti-Mafia Directorate on charges of aggravated murder with mafia methods.
The 48-year-old was found in a luxury villa on the Amalfi Coast, where he had checked in under false names to spend Easter with his family. At the resort where he was staying, carabinieri found three luxury watches, approximately 20,000 euros in cash, forged documents, smartphones and manuscripts related to a possible accounting system, which will be investigated.
The arrest was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of the Naples Provincial Command, coordinated by the Naples Anti-Mafia Directorate.
