Alarm at a primary school in Germany, hundreds of police forces at the scene

Berlin police are intervening with multiple police forces at a Berlin elementary school in the Schmargendorf district. According to local media, the operation started at 16:15 after a shooting alarm in the country, and about two hours later, the police clarified that the alarm was false.
As BILD reports, the emergency call was pressed on two alarm systems at the school, set up specifically for attacks. The special alarms placed in the school have been activated in order to react in case of the presence of a serial killer. Children were hiding in the classrooms.
According to BILD information, over 100 police officers were at the scene around 5:30 p.m. SEK took the children out of the building little by little, in front of which many parents were waiting.
A police spokesman confirmed there were still primary school pupils in the building, despite the late hour, hiding in classrooms. The institute is open until 18:00.
"Currently we are looking for room by room. Everyone will get out safely. There are no screams, no calls for help, no phone calls. It is probably a false alarm, a technical fault may have caused the alarm," a police spokesman said in the evening.
As a preventive measure, firefighting units have also been sent to the school, so that if necessary they can provide first aid. The police are inspecting the facility and several units of the special command Sec.
