Fire in the Arlis complex/ Caused by burning of "Big Market" cartons on the first floor

A large-scale fire engulfed the 'Arlis' apartment complex in Tirana this afternoon, putting the lives of dozens of families at risk.

It is reported that the fire started in the premises of the "Big Market", on the first floor of the building. It is suspected that the possible cause of the fire was the ignition of some cardboard boxes near the market. From there, the fire then spread rapidly to the upper floors, including the facade and the apartments.

So far, there has been no official reaction to the causes of the fire, while authorities are expected to shed light on the responsibilities and circumstances of this event.
