Albania officially opens its embassy in Ukraine

Albania has officially opened its embassy in Ukraine.
On the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, it is reported that the Ambassador of Albania in Kiev, Ernal Filo, has handed over his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebijnis.
Perebijnis congratulated Filo on the start of his diplomatic mission and welcomed the decision of the Albanian government to open the embassy.
"This is a historic step in the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Albania", he said.
The Ukrainian Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude for Albania's continuous support in the fight against Russia.
"They discussed Albania's participation in the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the country's support for Ukraine's membership in NATO, as well as the interaction of the two states on the path to membership in the European Union," announced the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Meanwhile, the Albanian ambassador has ensured Albania's unchanging position regarding the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, as well as confirmed the will to further develop friendly relations.
