Vacationers and national team fans, large influx of crossings at the Morina border crossing

An increase in the flow of crossings has been recorded at the Morina border crossing, where tens of thousands of citizens from Kosovo, North Macedonia and the Presevo Valley have entered Albania.

This influx of visitors has two reasons, the main one being spending the weekend on the Albanian coast and following the football match being played tonight between Albania and Serbia.

Due to the large number of vehicle crossings, mainly from Kosovo, it is reported that Morina customs has opened the border to avoid long lines. This was done in implementation of the agreement for free movement without border controls.
