44-year-old man arrested for stabbing elderly man in Divjaka

A knife wound has occurred in the village of Çermë-Sektor of Divjaka. Police announce that the injury occurred at around 14:00, after a conflict for weak motives between two people. The blue uniforms have handcuffed the perpetrator, while the injured person is in the hospital, under the care of doctors.

"The services of the Divjaka Police Commissariat, immediately after receiving the notification of a conflict between two citizens, in the village of Çermë-Sektor, have organized the work in order to clarify the circumstances of this case. As a result of rapid operational actions, it was possible to capture and escort the suspected perpetrator, citizen LM, 44 years old, resident of Çermë-Proshkë.

"From the investigative actions so far, it is suspected that at around 2:00 PM, the 44-year-old, after a momentary conflict, for weak motives, attacked citizen FB, 64 years old, resident of Çermë-Sektor, who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors," the Police announced.

Police officers seized the knife with which the perpetrator injured the 64-year-old. The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
