With two days left until the deadline for submitting applications for the race for director general of the State Police, A2 CNN learns the names of several police officers running.
This is about a career officer with 28 years in the police force, Pëllumb Seferi, who holds the position of director of the Association of European Students who graduate from the FBI in the USA. Seferi is also the director of international relations at the General Directorate of Police.
The current director of the Vlora Police, Elidon Çela, with a 25-year career, is also running for the position of police chief, and is one of the potential candidates.
Another name running is the director of the Durrës Police, Afrim Tafa. Officers Lutfi Minxhozi and Idajet Faskaj are also running.
It is expected that in the remaining two days, names that have been rumored after the opening of the competition, such as Tonin Vocaj and the current director of Fier, Skënder Hitaj, may also run.
