He will make history with his fifth consecutive World Cup, the Portuguese is officially on the bench of the only participating national team that was left without a coach.

Ghana's national team has finally found a coach. And it won't be Herve Renard, as initially thought after the Ghanaians fired coach Oto Ado following defeats in March's friendly matches.
The Ghanaian Federation has announced that the management of the team has been entrusted to a well-known name in world coaching, Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, who at the age of 72 has embarked on this new adventure that will put him in the World Cup record books.
He will be the first coach to participate in 5 consecutive World Cups with a qualified team and not as a host country, having previously managed Portugal in 2010, as well as Iran in 2014, 2018 and 2022. Queiroz had previously managed Oman, but decided to leave this team after unrest broke out in the Middle East.
The coach with the most World Cup appearances is Carlos Alberto Parreira, with 6, while Queiroz will be joined in second place by Bora Milutinovic with 5 appearances.
