He expressed his condolences to his family, his wife Roza Anagnosti, and his two daughters.

"Farewell, the "dictator of beauty", the pinnacle of artistic achievements of the Albanian screen! Farewell, the master of Albanian character building! There is no more Anagnost of the screen, there is no second like him! Albania today has suffered a great loss, how poor cinema is without you, Anagnost! How rich you have left us with knowledge of Albanian life! Condolences, Roza, Juna, Era!", Kabo wrote.
