NAME/ Arrested in Norway for 150 kg of cocaine, the Saranda Court declares the professional diver wanted

The court of Saranda has made a decision yesterday to declare 47-year-old Saimir Kushova, a professional diver, who has been imprisoned in Norway for drug trafficking for more than 1 and a half years, but in Saranda is being investigated for "violation of rules of protection at work" after the death of a 29-year-old English woman while diving with his expedition.

Saimir Kushova was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Norway on charges of drug trafficking. He was arrested on April 13, 2023 in Husnes, Norway, together with 5 other Albanian pigeons, including a female. They were recruited to extract four bags from the ship "Nordloire" which came from Brazil. The bags contained 150 kg of cocaine, which were seized by the police. The Norwegian police had filmed the group of Albanians during their movement in the area and intervened as soon as the cocaine was recovered.
