She stated that Gjika had his activity in Latin America, while in Albania it is suspected that the organization laundered money. 

"He is one of the most important people in drug trafficking in Ecuador. He was arrested in the United Arab Emirates. Dritan Gjika was exposed for the first time by Inside Crime. He is the head of a very powerful criminal group that has trafficked tons of drugs and is suspected of having laundered 32 million euros. He has operated in Latin America. His connections in Ecuador and Latin America are very strong. In Ecuador, they have also declared a judge wanted for favoring Dritan Gjika. It turns out that he has connections to the former President of Ecuador. He had connections to the most important people in Ecuador.

He is the leader of the group according to the Prosecutor's Office there. It turns out a group with many exponents, not entirely Albanian.
