Durim Bami is arrested in Dubai, accompanied by their brother and friend

The police authorities of Dubai have arrested Durim Bami, a well-known crime figure in Albania, much wanted by the Albanian police and announced as an international wanted within the mega-operation "Revanshi", otherwise known as "Metamorphosis 2". The news was learned by "Boldnews.al" from unofficial sources near the State Police, but reliable.

In addition, the same source informs that his brother, Valter Bami, and their friend, whose name has not yet been made public, were also accompanied to Dubai.

The friend of the two Bami brothers is suspected to be part of the same criminal group, and known by all as the "right-hand man" of Roan Brahimi, who was executed a few weeks ago by a mafia assassination in Athens.

It is also reported that Dubai authorities have searched the apartment of two Bami brothers who are known to be part of criminal groups in Albania.

Unconfirmed sources from the police claimed that the Bami brothers were escorted by the Dubai police, but they have no further information on how it was proceeded.

We recall that in May of this year, as part of the interception of the "Sky ECC" applications, SPAK targeted well-known criminals in the country such as Valter and Durim Bami, the two brothers Leonard and Erlis Duka, Fatmir Hyseni alias Docja or two brothers Astrit and Altin Avdylaj, part of Shijak's gang.

Who are Valter and Durim Bami and what are they accused of?

We remind you that Durim Bami, Valter Bami and Marklen Haka were escorted to the police after the assassination attempt on Gentian Bejtja, the assassination in which his brother-in-law Ramazan Sino also became a victim, an event that happened in July of last year.

Durim e Valter Bami and Marklen Haka were once friends with each other but broke up after the disappearance of Enver Stafuka.

They are known as Nikla's big three, as they have significant criminal records in the past.

Durim Bami from Kruja is a name known by the judiciary, but especially by the Albanian public and politics. He was previously convicted of armed robbery. Bami is known for the alleged assassination attempt by Tom Doshi.

For this alleged assassination, all the high officials of the state ended up at the doors of the Prosecutor's Office. Tom Doshi, Mark Frroku and Durim Bami were accused of false reporting in the case of the alleged assassination of Tom Doshi and PD MP Mhill Fufi. In 2015, Doshi accused the former Speaker of the Assembly, Ilir Meta, of having ordered an assassination to be executed through Durim Bami, against the payment of 500,000 euros. Valter Bami is the brother of Durim Bami, also a well-known name in the world of crime.

How Roan Brahimi was killed in Athens

On May 9, Roan Brahimi is executed in a mafia assassination.

Brahimi lived in Dubai, from where he had gone to Greece to celebrate Easter with his family and that he was kept under observation until he was executed in the Vyronas (Byron) neighborhood.

There are doubts that he was also involved in the bloody attack that happened near the Tapiza bridge, where the car in which Brilant Martinaj and his friends were traveling was blown up on July 17, 2022.

Roan Brahimi was also wanted for the terror they caused in a bar in Zejmen, Lezha, where they entered armed with Kalashnikovs looking for the owner, an event that happened in 2021. As authors of the same event, former grandson of the deputy of the Socialist Party, Rrahman Rraja, Ramazan Rraja and Alesio Dobrozi. Earlier in December 2020, the bar owned by his father Gjovalin Prendit in Lezhë was shot with a barrage of bullets, but fortunately no one was injured. While in 2014 Roani, two sons of his uncles were killed in the assassination and another one was injured.
