Anti-drug operation at Kapshtica customs, suspected involvement of police and customs

The Police Supervision Authority (AMP) has undertaken a police action today at the Kapshtica border crossing.

According to media sources, detailed checks are being carried out on a number of vehicles, and it is known that a quantity of narcotics, specifically 6 kg of heroin, has been seized in one of them.

So far, several people have been arrested, while the driver of the vehicle where the drugs were found has been arrested. The heroin was pressed and packaged in the form of chocolate.

Sources indicate that in this case, employees of the State Police or customs structures in Kapshtica may also be involved, who are suspected of having facilitated the entry or exit of drugs.

This is one of the biggest strikes in recent months, the source tells SYRI TV that the action was initiated by partner agencies, which have intensified controls with their agents in the field as it is suspected that the structures of the state police and Albanian customs are themselves involved and are sabotaging the actions.
