He hit a pedestrian and then fled, the driver was arrested in Sukth

Yesterday evening, on the Sukth-Vadardhe road axis at around 8:45 PM, a vehicle hit a 54-year-old man and immediately left the scene without providing first aid.

The police were notified of the incident and launched an operation to identify and capture the suspected perpetrator. Within a few hours, Traffic Police specialists managed to locate and arrest citizen DM, 42 years old, resident of Sukth, suspected of being the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident and fled.

As material evidence, the vehicle suspected of causing the accident was also seized.

The injured party is currently under the care of doctors, while the materials related to the case were passed on to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action.
