Dutch club wins trophy after 92 years of waiting

Go Ahead Eagles, a Dutch club that participates in the Eredivisie, has made history by lifting a trophy after 92 years of waiting, after winning the Dutch Cup last night, where they defeated the main contender AZ Alkmaar in the final.
The first half of the final ended in a goalless draw.
At the start of the second half, AZ Alkmaar took the lead thanks to a penalty shot correctly executed by Troy Parrott.
The equalizer came in the 99th minute again from the penalty spot, correctly executed by Mats Deijl.
The 1-1 score remained unchanged in the 30-minute extra time and the teams went to the penalty shootout, where the Go Ahead Eagles players proved to be more accurate and won 4-2.
In the early 1920s and 1930s, Go Ahead Eagles was one of the leading teams in the Netherlands, winning 4 championship titles, the last in 1933, and then came a 92-year trophy drought.
