The June 30 deadline is approaching and neither the club nor the player wants to wait until the end. Juventus and Vlahovic, after the positive signals of recent weeks, intend to prepare in advance for the second "marriage".
The international break is expected to help speed up the talks. The striker will train in Kontinense, while manager Damien Comolli is expected to return to Italy at the weekend. The player's father, Miloš Vlahović, will also arrive in Turin, and is taking an active role in his son's future. The next meeting will not be final, but it is considered key. The parties have previously parted ways with a common desire: to continue together. Now comes the moment of concrete financial discussions. Vlahovic has clearly expressed his desire to stay, while Juventus has promised coach Luciano Spalletti that it will do its utmost for the renewal. The club prefers to keep a proven striker than to invest in a new name, especially considering that since January 2022, the Serb has scored 64 goals in 163 matches. Even the player himself sees it more reasonable to continue in a familiar environment after a difficult season and a serious injury.
Easter week could be crucial for the striker, who aims to return to goal in the match against Genoa on April 6. Although the final agreement may take time, economic discussions will begin immediately. Vlahovic is aware that he cannot continue with the current salary of 12 million euros. On the other hand, Juventus know that a significant reduction (40-50%) must be balanced with other conditions. The most likely compromise is a 1-2-year contract (until 2027 or 2028) with a salary of around 6-7 million euros per season. In the meantime, the club has a clear plan for the future: securing a place in the Champions League and renewing key players, before intervening in the transfer market with some quality approaches, where names such as Bernardo Silva and the possible return of Randal Kolo Muani are mentioned.
