Christian Pulisic suffers injury, raises concerns for US team

The US national team is concerned about the condition of Christian Pulisic. The Milan winger, who was among the main protagonists in the match against Paraguay at the World Cup, was substituted in the 45th minute due to a problem with his femoral biceps and watched the second half of the challenge from the bench.
However, in the American camp there is optimism about his condition as his substitution was made more out of caution and so he is expected to be in the second group match, the one against Australia, which was also confirmed by Pochettino himself.
'We didn't want to take any risks ,' said the US national team coach, which was confirmed by Pulisic himself.
"I took a knock to the leg in the first half, I was substituted to avoid taking any more risks. It's in the back of my leg in the calf area. It's happened to me in the past and I'm optimistic. I don't think it's serious," Pulisic said.
