"The worst day of my life"/ Ed Sheeran reveals the moment he learned his wife had cancer: It was...

Famous singer Ed Sheeran has recalled the moment he was told his wife had been diagnosed with cancer. He describes it as the worst day of his life.
Foreign media reports that doctors discovered a tumor in Cherry's arm in February 2022, when she was six months pregnant with their second child, daughter Jupiter.
The same week that Cherry learned he had cancer, two of the artist's close friends died suddenly and the court case over his song "Shape Of You" began, in which Sheeran was accused of plagiarism - a case he ultimately won.
After the couple welcomed their daughter into the world, she underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Giving an update on his wife's health, the famous singer told the Friends Keep Secrets podcast:
"The day Cherry called me and told me she had cancer was probably one of the worst days."
Ed Sheeran then explained that he is now fine, having overcome the danger:
“It was probably the worst week, because Jamal died that week and right after we went to trial. And then Shane died. He’s fine, I mean, he had the surgery. She was pregnant at the time, so it was tough. He had the surgery to remove the tumor after she gave birth to our second child. Luckily, she’s completely fine.”
As the singer reported, when his wife first sought medical help, a doctor initially told her that "the situation was very serious" and that she had cancer. She immediately called Sheeran and told him to cancel all his plans, while the two anxiously waited a whole month for the full medical report.
However, they were later informed that there was no treatment plan that could be implemented while Cherry was pregnant. After a series of tests, the couple learned that the condition was less serious than initially thought and that the surgery could be performed after the birth of their daughter.
