The man who guaranteed the DP's $6 million lobbying keeps quiet about the contract: I'm on vacation

Nuredin Seci, the man who guaranteed the payment of 6 million dollars to the lobbying company for the removal of the 'non-wife' of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted to Top Channel. He stated that he is on vacation with his family and cannot speak at the moment.
"Thank you for your interest, but these days I am on vacation with my family far away and I am unable to do so. The State Department has a contract that talks about lobbying and I believe that everything is transparent here! Thank you for your understanding," he wrote.
The Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK, has begun verification regarding the lobbying contract signed by the Albanian-American Nuredin Seci; the president of the Continental Strategy LLC firm, Carlo Trujillo, a former advisor to US President Donald Trump; and by the secretary general of the Democratic Party, in the capacity of beneficiary - a contract that aims to create relationships with key actors in the government and Congress of the United States of America.
For this lobbying, the contract signed on April 4th stipulated that a fee of $250,000 per month for a period of 24 months be paid, which in total is estimated at $6 million.
According to the contract, the monetary values will be paid by a foundation represented by Nuredin Seci, while the Democratic Party of Albania will be the beneficiary of the lobbying service, it will not pay anything.
After the $6 million lobbying contract was made public, the Democratic Party officially said yesterday that it would not be paid for by the party itself, but by the “Make Albania Great Again” foundation, an organization created by the Albanian-American community. “The Albanian-American community has undertaken to cover 100% of the financial cost of this initiative. The Democratic Party has no financial burden or contractual obligation in this agreement,” the PD said.
This is the second contract in a few months that the Democratic Party has signed with people close to Donald Trump, following the arrival in Albania of one of the US President's two strategists, Chris Lacivita.
“The Client (through its Guarantor(s)) will pay the Firm a fixed monthly fee of $250,000 for a comprehensive support package that includes lobbying, advocacy and strategic legal initiatives for a period of 2 years (24 months) (“Monthly Fee”) and in accordance with the Terms of the Agreement. Payment for the first three (3) months (upfront payment) will be due upon signing this Agreement,” the contract states.

“Aktivitetet mund të përfshijnë lobim, përgatitje dhe shpërndarje të materialeve informuese, si dhe angazhim me vendimmarrësit politikë amerikanë”, thuhet në kontratën e nënshkruar.
Firma me seli në Uashington DC ka lidhje të ngushta me administratën e ish-Presidentit Donald Trump. Themeluesi Carlos Trujillo ka shërbyer si këshilltar i fushatës së Trump dhe si ambasador i SHBA-së në Organizatën e Shteteve Amerikane. Kjo lidhje ka ndihmuar në rritjen e shpejtë të firmës, veçanërisht pas rikthimit të Trump në presidencë.
