Berisha's crazy bill - The American consultant he chose for the campaign cost Donald Trump $22 million

Today Sali Berisha announced his collaboration with Christopher LaCivita, a political consultant attached to President Trump, for whom he worked in the November 2024 elections.

LaCivita has a long career in the US and is known for his heavy-handedness towards his clients. In the last presidential election, he earned $22 million for his work in Trump's service.

This is a large figure, but still modest when we consider that campaigns in the US, especially the latter, are among the most expensive in the world.

President Trump justifies hiring LaCivita not only because he is one of the richest people in America, but because the amounts spent on the November 5 race reached a staggering $15.6 billion. That makes LaCivita's $22 million salary seem like a drop in the ocean.

The amount remains problematic for Albania, which Berisha has described for years as poor and robbed, but unlike his rhetoric, it turns out to be quite generous economically, especially for Berisha, who will "fight" poverty by spending millions of dollars on a campaign in which he will again come out a loser, as recent polls show.
