"Albania 1 euro" goes on sale, the initiative gives investors state lands in the mountains for development

"Albania 1 euro". An initiative that has its starting point in 2006, put into effect during the time of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, applied further in the Rama government, will find implementation again. From the purpose of lands, terrains, buildings, state warehouses, etc. It's the mountains' turn, but with a difference.
These properties will no longer be given at 1 euro for a certain period, but the state gives them up by selling them. In the draft law submitted for consultation by the Ministry of Economy, "On the Sale of State Real Estate to Actual Owners, Non-Owners in Areas with Priority Development of the Mountain Economy", it is emphasized that the goal is the development of mountain areas, reports A2.
"The purpose of the draft law is precisely to consolidate the legal relationship of land ownership, in these areas with priority development, with the aim of encouraging and attracting investments for the sustainable development of the economy, in those areas, which due to natural resources, heritage rich culture and the wide range of outdoor activities they offer are considered as areas of special importance with mountain development as a priority and need special support".
The old initiative of "100 villages" and the new one for the "package of mountains" are the object of this draft law, which has as its main goal the investment of Albanian immigrants in the homeland, writes A2.
"The initiative for this draft law is taken within the framework of the "Integrated Program for Rural Development - Program of 100 Villages", and more specifically, within the framework of the initiative "Invest in Your Land - Package of Mountains", which aims to offer an alternative approach for the attraction of direct investments and their orientation, for the development of those regional/local areas of local government, identified as priority areas for development, which need the use of special mechanisms, for economic development".
The adoption and implementation of this law, according to the Ministry of Economy, would reduce social and economic disparities between regions across the country, encouraging investment and reducing unemployment.
