Pakistan is preparing for an imminent invasion by India, Defense Minister: It is inevitable! We have made our decisions

Pakistan is bracing for a military invasion by neighboring India after a deadly militant attack on tourists in Indian-controlled Kashmir last week, as tensions between the two nuclear powers rise.
This was stated today by Pakistan's Defense Minister, while relations between the two countries have deteriorated and the majority of the population in India calls for military action, after last week's attack caused the death of 26 people.
"We have strengthened our forces because now this is inevitable. In this situation, we have to take some strategic decisions and these decisions have already been taken," Defense Minister Muhammad Asif told Reuters in an interview from his office in Islamabad.
Asif also said that India's rhetoric is escalating and that the Pakistani military has briefed the government on the possibility of an Indian attack. He did not elaborate on the reasons why he believes an invasion is imminent.
After the attack in Kashmir, India identified two suspected militants as Pakistanis. Islamabad denied any involvement and demanded an impartial investigation.
Asif stressed that Pakistan is on high alert and will only use its nuclear arsenal "if we face a direct threat to our existence."
Ankara denies sending six planes with military supplies to Pakistan
Meanwhile, the Turkish presidency denies information that came to light in recent hours that Ankara has sent six shipments of weapons to Pakistan.
"A transport plane that departed from Turkey landed in Pakistan to refuel. It then continued its flight according to its predetermined route," said a statement from the Center for Combating Disinformation of the Turkish Presidency's Communications Directorate.
Under the headline "War Tension in Kashmir! Turkey Sends Six Planes Loaded with Weapons to Pakistan", the pro-government nationalist newspaper Türkiye published a relevant report on its website, which stated, among other things, that "six transport planes belonging to the Turkish army transported military equipment to Pakistan. It was reported that this equipment included weapons, missiles and drones. Pakistani officials stated that 'Turkey is showing tacit but real support'".
The report was later removed from the newspaper's website. Similar reports were also published by other Turkish media outlets, mainly sites specializing in defense issues.
