Germany/ Car drives into crowd, several injured reported!

At least six people were injured this Friday afternoon in Stuttgart, Germany, when a Mercedes car drove into a crowd, crashing into citizens and causing panic and chaos in the city.

Local media reports that the driver of the vehicle was arrested.

Stuttgart police said in a post on social media that the incident occurred in the Olgaeck area.

Later, police added that the operation is ongoing and that traffic in the area has been blocked due to the investigation as well as for security reasons.

The injured were transported to hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. Some of them are in serious condition, German media report.
