Italian newspaper Il Foglio publishes the world's first edition created

22 articles, 3 editorials, four newspaper pages, this is the Italian daily "Il Foglio", which has today carried out the first unique experiment in the world of a media daily written entirely through the Artificial Intelligence system.

It is the first newspaper in the world that is produced entirely through AI with headlines, analysis, quotes, information, debates, answers and discussions in the service of public communication.
And the journalists? Those true masters of human intelligence and human work?
They are limited only to asking questions, and not even they themselves know the product that artificial intelligence will produce with its answers.

But one thing is clear from the television announcer who was a button programmed to read a script or information produced by humans, today it has moved to another level: humans, journalists, editors, editors-in-chief are the command and control. Artificial intelligence is the choice, the response, the analysis, and perhaps even the influencer of public opinion through the pages of a newspaper.

Has AI moved from theory to practice, from the artificial to the natural? And how much of the natural is there in it?

Over the past year, there have been quite a few global dailies that have used artificial intelligence to improve clicks on their online portals, increase interaction with the public, perfect data analysis, or moderate readers' online comments and combat fake information and hate speech.

Such a fact is the Associated Press agency, which uses AI in the content of multimedia materials, in modifying videos or adapting them for people with disabilities.

Reuters has also reported that it has developed AI-powered tools that, through data analysis, help identify events before they become news for everyone. The New York Times has also stated that it has used AI to produce algorithms that tell the story of readers' experiences or promote articles and engage the public.

But today a new era has begun, how valuable or useful it will be to the public and the reader remains to be seen. The fact is that "Il Foglio" founded in 1996 is today the first newspaper produced with AI, it will be published twice a week for a month in a row. What happens next? It remains to be seen along with everyday life, the human one with human readers and human journalists.

The price remains the same as in the era of human intelligence (1 euro and 80 cents).
