Physiotherapy center turns into 'nest' of prostitution in Tirana, 40-year-old woman arrested, another prosecuted

A physiotherapy center had turned into a 'prostitution den' in Tirana.

As a result, a 40-year-old woman (the owner of the center) was arrested and another woman was prosecuted, who was suspected of being used for prostitution.

" The services of the Police Commissariat No. 2, as a result of a 3-month investigation, conducted in coordination with the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Exploitation of prostitution", a BG citizen, 40 years old, and proceeded criminally while at large, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution", a 41-year-old woman.

In the premises of the subject (physiotherapy center), on "Ismail Qemali" street, owned by a 40-year-old BG citizen, it was found that a 41-year-old woman was being used for prostitution.

As material evidence, a sum of money obtained from this illegal activity was seized.

"The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action ," the police statement said.
