Armed robbery at the "Concord" center in Tirana, perpetrator arrested

Tirana Police have arrested the suspected perpetrator of the armed robbery that occurred today at a currency exchange point in the "Concord" shopping center, in the "5 Maji" area.

The incident occurred around 09:00, when the suspect entered the premises of the "Exchange" point and, at gunpoint, took about 1.2 million old lek.

After the robbery, he fled the scene on a motorcycle.

His identification and arrest were later made possible, and in the meantime, the police are expected to provide more details on his identity and the full circumstances of the incident.
