Shkumbin River overflows its banks, flooding dozens of homes

The Shkumbin River has overflowed its banks as a result of heavy rainfall, creating a critical situation in several areas of Lushnja.

It is reported that due to the river's flow, the waters in the village of Thanasaj have engulfed dozens of homes and yards.

Meanwhile, the numerous flows of the Seman River have caused flooding in the village of Murriz-Kozare.

The rising level of this river endangers many villages along the embankment. The situation is most difficult in Imshte, where the water is almost at the level of the embankment.

So far, there is no risk of the embankment breaking, but if the flows continue, the waters could overflow the embankment.
