Orban's defeat in Hungary, former socialist minister: Message to Albanians oppressed and trampled by the "prime ministerial kingdom"!
Former Finance Minister Arben Malaj sees Viktor Orban's defeat in the parliamentary elections in Hungary as a message to the Albanian people.
In a Facebook post, Malaj writes that the loss of Orban, who has governed Hungary for the past 16 years, is an appeal to the citizens of the Balkans to confront the phenomena of autocracy and state capture.
The former socialist minister also emphasizes in his post that whoever sells his vote has bought his poverty.
" With the blood of poor voters, they feed their insatiable thirst for power and the army of criminalized patronageists for material benefits and promotion at the expense of the more educated ," Malaj writes.
He also calls for everyone to get involved to defeat the "prime ministerial monarchy."
Peoples have a hope-giving expression even in the darkest moments of their survival; "Hope Dies Last"
Hungary's Appeal for the Awakening of the Balkans
Peoples have the right:
Hope dies last. Yesterday's overwhelming defeat of the last autocrat and staunch ally against European geopolitics and geostrategy is a powerful and inspiring appeal to Albanians oppressed and trampled upon by the "prime ministerial monarchy"!
Hungarian inspiration should awaken the peoples subjugated by autocracies in the Balkans.
History has shown that freedom is not a gift that is given, but a right that is taken away.
Today, as we see "presidential kingdoms" and "prime ministerial sultanates" flourishing in the heart of Europe,
The model of Hungarian resistance serves as a beacon of hope in the darkness of autocracy.
In 1956, Hungary showed the world that no tank and no propaganda machine can defeat the will of a people who have decided to be free.
Today, in 2026, this lesson is more valuable than ever.
Today's autocrats do not wear visible crowns, but rule like medieval kings behind the facade of democratic institutions.
(ii) The transformation of courts
and the police on "guard"
personal.
(iii) Criminalization of Power:
When the will of the people is replaced by the interests of clans.
(iv) Propaganda of Fear: Selling stability as a substitute for freedom.
The Unstoppable Power of the "Silent People"
The biggest myth that autocrats cultivate is that they are invincible.
But Hungarian history teaches us that their power is just an illusion fueled by our passivity.
I will always reiterate that:
"No government, no matter how strong or criminalized,
that can survive facing a people who have lost their fear."
When the ordinary citizen understands that his vote is not just a letter in a box, but an "act of rebellion" against the prime ministerial kingdoms,
the walls begin to crack.
The Hungarian model reminds us that democratizing revolutions do not begin in government palaces, but in the kitchens of families who cannot make ends meet, in cafes where people speak in low voices, and in the minds of young people who refuse to emigrate.
The peoples of the Balkans have long suffered under the shadow of "strongmen".
It is time to understand that these autocrats are not a reflection of our strength, but of our temporary weakness.
As in Hungary, Unity over Divisions is needed:
As in the culminating moments of Hungarian history,
Success only comes when citizens unite beyond ideologies against a common evil: Tyranny.
No presidential kingdom can stand if the people decide to no longer remain silent.
Freedom is not a destination, it is a daily battle.
If Hungary could challenge empires,
The peoples of the Balkans have all the power to dismantle today's neo-dictatorships.
My message from my first steps in politics in 1991 is and will remain: Whoever sells votes, buys poverty!
Whoever buys votes sucks the last drop of blood of the poor.
With the blood of poor voters, they feed their insatiable thirst for power and the army of criminalized patronageists for material benefits and promotion at the expense of the more educated.
Choose to ALWAYS be the master of your own destiny!
Let's start working to defeat our prime ministerial kingdom,
tainted by corruption and state capture,
since the 2027 mayoral elections!
