Shkodra is declared the European City of Sport 2025, Benet Beci: Opportunities for grants from the EU

The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, gave today the good news from the European Parliament in Brussels that Shkodra has been declared the European City of Sports 2025.

Beci said that " this is an important assessment for our city which, apart from an international recognition, will benefit from this cooperation for the improvement of local sports policies, the possibility of grants from the European Union, the exchange of experience with other European cities and above all the revitalization of sports life in the city ".

It is expected that the city of Shkodra will have a series of activities that will transform it next year into a great center of champions in many sports disciplines.
