Kosovo Police Find Weapons and Ammunition Again in the North

Kosovo Police have again found weapons and ammunition in North Mitrovica.

No one has been arrested in this case yet.

Kosovo Police announcement:

On 16.04.2025, after receiving information from citizens on suspicions that there are weapons in a location, police units took immediate action and conducted a search in the basement of a collective building on the "Ivo Lola Ribar" street - Mitrovica North. The relevant Kosovo Police units arrived at the scene and took all necessary actions to safely remove and secure the suspected material. During the search conducted at that location, the police found and confiscated:

• as well as some additional equipment for mounting on weapons intended for shooting with a trombone.

Kosovo Police have interviewed a person as a witness, contacted the State Prosecutor and launched investigations to fully clarify the case and identify the responsible persons. No one has been arrested in connection with the case.

Thanking citizens for their cooperation, the Police continues to remain committed to combating negative phenomena and providing security to all citizens without distinction.
