In her first television interview since the 2024 election, Clinton stressed that this event is being used to attack political opponents, emphasizing that leaders in such times should try to unite the people, but, according to her, greater divisions are occurring.
In her interview, Clinton called the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's show a "very clear example" of state censorship, implying that this was an action that did not contribute to the unity of the nation, but worsened the situation.
"Despite the pain and sadness that such an event causes, leaders must uphold unity and avoid deepening divisions ," she said.
