An unusual event occurred a few minutes ago in the center of Fier, where the driver of a "Porsche" vehicle, while driving at high speed, lost control and crashed into two parked vehicles, severely damaging them.
According to witnesses at the scene, after the accident the driver of the vehicle attempted to leave, and even removed the vehicle's license plate to avoid identification. It was the immediate intervention of several citizens, who prevented him from leaving, as well as the quick reaction of a police patrol located near the area, that made it possible to neutralize and handcuff him.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action, while numerous police forces arrived at the scene, which are conducting a vehicle inspection and are working to fully clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident.
