Rama interrupts and argues with the foreign journalist: I don't care what you heard on the street! You're talking to me!
During a conference with journalists from European Union countries, Prime Minister Edi Rama had a heated exchange with one of the foreign correspondents.
While the journalist was trying to formulate her question based on citizens' opinions, the prime minister immediately interrupted her speech.
"I wanted to ask because yesterday I asked some people on the street..." the journalist began the question.
This statement has brought an immediate reaction from the head of government, who has refused to comment on the rumors or claims collected from citizens on the ground.
"You are talking to me, it is not of interest to me what you heard on the street. You are asking me. I am not on the street, I am not someone who does not bear responsibility when speaking because I represent this country, the people who elected me to be here. I cannot be challenged with what you heard on the street. Do you have evidence to prove that I am saying something wrong? Tell me, challenge me!" declared Rama.
