Democratic MP Belind Këlliçi said that during the protest, gas canisters were thrown inside a mosque where Muslim believers were praying.

He stated that the police intervention was unprecedented and harsh, while adding that, according to him, the protesters' reaction came as a result of the actions of the blue uniforms.

"It's unprecedented, poisonous gas canisters have been thrown inside the Mosque."
