A political caste that for years has divided power, oppositionism and hope, today wanders confusedly in front of a square that does not obey anyone.
The government plays the role of the ignorant. It pretends not to see, not to hear and not to understand. But the fear of power cannot be hidden behind silence and stale and out-of-date propaganda.
The DP, left without the trust of the citizens, struggles to appear to be at the head of a revolt that it has not inspired and cannot control. When the citizens speak for themselves, the mask of any maneuvers of a false opposition falls.
But the Square is bigger than them, the SP and the DP together. It is bigger than their bargains, bigger than their accounts, bigger than their parties.
It is full of energy, hope, and dignity!
And at its center is Youth.
And therein lies the greatness of this protest: a free, untethered, untainted youth.
Youth that is reminding everyone that history is not written by those who hold the chairs, but by those who have the courage to challenge them, that historical changes are not born in the offices of power, but in the hearts of citizens.
This beautiful youth is teaching a lesson to all those who thought they could hold the future hostage.
And when youth rises, no power is eternal!
And this is the force that has frightened the establishment, because this is the new Albania.
