The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, was injured during the opposition protest in central Tirana.
According to his statement, he was hit in the hand by one of the gas canisters thrown by the police.
Earlier in the evening, Democratic Party (DP) candidate for deputy, Senida Mehmeti, was also injured, suffering an injury to her forehead.
According to reports, she is suspected of being hit with a rubber bullet during the clashes.
